ARTICLE III - MEMBERSHIP OF THE ASSOCIATION
1. There shall be two categories of membership.

1.1. ORDINARY MEMEBERS
Ordinary members shall be former Ghanaian professional employees of the United Nations System and other International Intergovernmental Organizations (IIGOs), former Technical Advisers, Experts and other Specialists including National Officers, with not less than five continuous years of service with the UN or IIGOs.

1.2 ASSOCIATE MEMBERS
Ghanaians who do not meet the criteria for ordinary membership but have made exceptional technical and or professional contributions in their own fields of expertise to support and promote the objectives and ideals of the UN or IIGOs shall qualify for Associate Membership.
1.3 Non-Ghanaian citizens who would otherwise be eligible for ordinary membership may become Associate Members provided they have taken up residence in Ghana for at least one year after separation from their organizations.

2. CODE OF CONDUCT
Members of the Association shall be expected to continue to abide by the Code Of Conduct required of regular staff members of the United Nations System.
